The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the racial health gap in America. For the Black community, this disparity is rooted in inequalities that are also responsible for the severity and progression of chronic illnesses.

To address this issue, AETNA and #FITDC3 are hosting a free, virtual health forum that will focus on the four biggest health threats facing the Black community.

We’ll be highlighting the latest technology, tactics, and health strategies that address:

Heart Health
46% of black adults suffer from some form of heart disease.
Diabetes
Black Americans are 60% more likely to be diagnosed with diabetes.
Sickle Cell
Occurs among 1 out of every 365 black births.
Mental Health
In the last 10 years, suicides in the black community have risen 56%
